Once the summer retreat of the Imperial family, visitors can now take a tour around its grand rooms and walk through the huge estate to learn about the day to day life of the former residents of this historic palace.

    Day 2: Vienna Austria

    Stop At: The Hofburg, Michaelerkuppel, Vienna 1010 Austria
    The Hofburg is the former principal imperial palace of the Habsburg dynasty rulers and today serves as the official residence and workplace of the President of Austria. It is located in the center of Vienna and was built in the 13th century and expanded several times afterwards. It also served as the imperial winter residence, as Schönbrunn Palace was the summer residence.

    Vienna City Hall is the seat of local government of Vienna, located on Rathausplatz in the Innere Stadt district.     The Goldenes Dachl is a landmark structure located in the Old Town section of Innsbruck, Austria. It is considered the city's most famous symbol. Completed in 1500, the roof was decorated with 2,657 fire-gilded copper tiles for Emperor Maximilian I to mark his wedding to Bianca Maria Sforza. The Emperor and his wife used the balcony to observe festivals, tournaments, and other events that took place in the square below
