Plaza de Bolívar of Pereira is the point where the center of the city meets. This Plaza is located between the 7th and 8th races with streets 19 and 20.
The Plaza de Bolívar of Pereira is a cultural reference, thanks to the presence of the work of art in bronze of the Naked Bolívar, this representative symbol of the city arrived at the Plaza de Bolívar in the year of 1963 of the antioqueño sculptor Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt, who donated this significant sculpture, was praised and proudly shown to the country and to the world.
Around it we can find large mango and palm trees that beautify the landscape of the square with the green of its leaves, people from all social classes and typical characters of the city such as mimes, culebreros and others.

Stop At: Catedral de Nuestra Senora de la Pobreza, Cra. 7 e / cll. 20 and 21, Pereira Colombia

This is the cathedral church of Catholic devotion located in the city of Pereira. The temple is dedicated to the Virgin Mary under the name of the Virgin of Poverty. It is located on the western side of the Plaza de Bolívar.
It contains 13 thousand pieces of wood that support the dome, which can be approximated to the medieval Romanic style. On the outside there are two small side towers and a clock that completes the front. The walls inside the church have a visible brick, decorated with mosaics, reflecting a Byzantine style, similar to the early Christian and Orthodox churches.

Stop At: Viaducto Cesar Gaviria Trujillo, Dosquebradas, Risaralda, Colombia

The César Gaviria Trujillo viaduct, a 704-meter-long bridge 55 meters high, is an engineering work that the citizens of Pereira are proud of. The structure, which passes over the Otún River, joins the municipality of Dosquebradas with Pereira. The viaduct was baptized in memory of the politician born in this city who was president of the Republic between 1990 and 1994.

Called the pink zone of Pereira. This zone is located in one of the main avenues of the city; the Circunvalar Avenue, it is an artery that crosses in a parallel way the eastern hills.
