Construction of the bridge was planned since the middle of the last century, even Nikita Khrushchev during his trip to Vladivostok added his construction to the master plan for the development of the city. Work on its construction began only in 2008, as part of preparing the city for the APEC 2012 summit. The Golden Bridge is among the ten largest cable-stayed bridges in the world. For motorists on the bridge, 6 lanes are broken, the nature of the Primorsky Territory was also included in the project of developing the bridge. You can walk along the Golden Bridge on a windless day, special tracks 70 kilometers long are developed here. In the evening, the bridge is painted with a special illumination, with beautiful panoramic views of the city and its surroundings from its sides. The bridge to the Russian island began to build in 2008. Its construction was included in the plan for preparing the city of Vladivostok for the APEC-2012 summit under the program "Development of the city of Vladivostok as a center for international cooperation in the APR." The pylons of the bridge in their form and image resemble the letter A. The Vanty bridge is decorated with the colors of the Russian flag. Unlike the Golden Bridge across the Golden Horn Bay, the bridge to Russky Island has only 4 lanes and a smaller width. The bridge was opened on the birthday of the city in the presence of Dmitry Medvedev and became a long-awaited gift to residents and guests of Vladivostok. Pedestrians walk on the bridge is prohibited due to gusts of wind, which can reach 30 meters per second. According to calculations, the number of cars per day crossing the bridge is about 6,000. After the opening of the bridge across the Eastern Bosphorus, more and more people prefer to relax on Russky Island, which greatly relieved the attendance of the most popular beach in the town of Azure Bay (Shamora).

Stop At: Vladivostok Fortress, Batareinaya St., 4A, Vladivostok 690091 Russia
Monument of military history and architecture of federal significance, defensive structures of Vladivostok today can only be discerned outlines on the tops of the hills, along roads, on the seashore. They have long been not used for their intended purpose, and therefore have lost their once formidable appearance. Although a hundred years ago, the citadel, erected by Russian engineers and builders, had no world analogues and was considered the most impregnable sea fortress. About 400 fortifications, strongholds and coastal batteries, equipped with 1.4 thousand guns, were placed on 400 square kilometers. The history of the fortress began with the creation of a small naval station in the Far East. To this end, on July 2, 1860, a landing force commanded by ensign Nikolai Vasilyevich Komarov landed in the Golden Horn Bay. For four months, a small detachment built a wooden outpost, barracks and various economic buildings.

Stop At: Voroshilovskaya Batareya Museum, Voroshilovskaya Batareya, 1 Russkiy, Vladivostok 690920 Russia
In the spring of 1931, in a tense situation between neighboring countries, the USSR leadership decided to strengthen the defense of the city of Vladivostok. To this end, K. Voroshilov personally chose a place for the placement of artillery batteries on Russky Island. Over the next few years, workers performed most of the work. The batteries were removed from the battleship "Poltava" and refined at the Obukhovsky plant. The trunks and all the details were transported to the installation site using barges, and more along the railroad, specially built for this project. In February-April 1934, the installation was completed and the batteries were named after K. Voroshilov. The complex is not only and not so much the battery itself, located on the surface, as the warehouses and residential premises located at a depth of 3 floors. The 3.5-meter concrete arch allows us to withstand a direct hit of a ton-size bombs. The guns themselves had the opportunity to hit the target at a distance of 35 kilometers and fired a shot every 40 seconds. The complex was served simultaneously by 399 people. In 1992, after decades of inaction, it was decided to conduct demonstration shooting, which proved that even after so many years the battery could hit a target 2 meters in diameter from a distance of more than 11 kilometers. Currently, it is completely decommissioned and now anyone can visit the complex, because now it is a branch of the Museum of the Pacific Fleet.
