Afterwards, the Outlander tour will start after travelling to the East. On the banks of the estuary of the Forth River you will find the impressive Blackness Castle. Stop At: Falkland, Falkland, Fife, Scotland
You will have time to eat in the town of Falkland. Where you can recreate one of the first scenes of the television series, which replaces the city of Inverness in the 1940s (T1) and 1960 (T2). The Covenanter Hotel replaces the cozy Mrs. Baird's Guesthouse; Bruce's source is where Jamie's ghost looks into Claire's room; Fayre Earth Gift Shop also works as Farrell's Hardware and Furniture Store; and Campbell's Coffee House and Eatery is Campbell's Coffee Shop in the series.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Culross, Culross, Fife, Scotland
Crossing the estuary of the River Forth, you will have time to walk the streets of the picturesque village of Culross. It is a unique example of what a city in Scotland would look like during the 17th and 18th centuries. The area of the city of Mercat Cross is transformed into the fictional village of Cranesmuir where Geillis lives, and behind the impressive Palace of Culross is where Claire's herb garden is located in the Leoch Castle (T1). The city also lends its backdrop to the Jacobite camp and improvised hospital scenes (T2).
