    Ancient Corinth was one of the largest and most important cities of Greece, with a population of 90,000 in 400 BC. The Romans demolished Corinth in 146 BC, built a new city in its place in 44 BC, and later made it the provincial capital of Greece. The site located at the foot of the hill includes the Roman Agora of Corinth, the temple of god Apollo and a small museum.

Nemea was famous in Greek myth as the home of the Nemean Lion, which was killed by the hero Heracles,[2] and as the place where the infant Opheltes, lying on a bed of parsley, was killed by a serpent while his nurse fetched water for the Seven on their way from Argos to Thebes.

    The Archaeological Museum of Nemea is a museum in Nemea, Corinthia, Greece. It was constructed by the University of California and given to the Greek State in 1984. The museum is located at the entrance to the Archaeological site of Nemea. Exhibits finds from this site and the surrounding areas, from Cooper Age (Chalcolithic) to early Byzantine era.

    Nafplio is the capital of Argolis, seat of the Municipality of Nafplion and the main port of the eastern Peloponnese.In Greek mythology, Nauplius (“Seafarer”) founded Nauplia, where the modern city of Nafplion is situated. The city was made the official capital of Greece from 1828 to 1833 by Count Ioannis Kapodistrias. The historical center of Nafplion, the Old Town, is located on a small peninsula in the Argolic Gulf. Its features include history permeating it,stunning beauty with its elegant charm of cobblestones, the blooming bougainvilleas welcoming visitors, the well-preserved neoclassical mansions and the fact that it is the ultimate travel destination.

    Rising above the old part of town, the Akronafplia fortress is the oldest of Nafplio's three castles, although it is less interesting than the other two forts.
