Day 1: Guangzhou - Yangshuo - Xingping

Stop At: Xingping Town, Guilin 541906 China
Day 1:
Depart Guangzhou：8:00-8:30 Meet at Guangzhou south station，take the train about 09:17-11:43

If taking the train by yourself, meet at Yangshuo station：11:00-11:40. Forward to Xingping Old Town.

12:00 Lunch in Xingping

13:00 Walking, follow the ancient road along the Lijiang River, walk all the way to enjoy the style of the Lijiang River

15:00 Climbing Laozhai Mountain. The mountain is steep, but with the suddenly bright scenery on mountain top, everything is worth it.

17:00 Peak view of sunset, Go down before dark

19:00 Take car to Yangshuo hotel (Featured Inn near Li River)

Xingping has a long history and many buildings date back to the Qing and Ming dynasties. On local market days the town comes to life and can get quite busy with locals from the surrounding villages coming to buy and sell their produce.

The scenery around Xingping is magnificent and you can take a walk out of town on a nice path which crosses a tributary of the Li River and takes you onto a smaller road that runs along the river.

Laozhai Mountain is considered as one of the most beautiful places throughout Guilin and Yangshuo to watch sunsets – overlooking the spectacular karst formations, winding river, town and valleys below.

Day 2: Yangshuo - Cuiping Hill

Stop At: Yulong River, Yangshuo, Yangshuo County China
Day 2
8:00 Forward to Cuiping hill. Cuiping Hill is a natural observation platform, Yulong River winds through the foot of the mountain

9:00 Starting to climb Cuiping Hill, about half an hour to climb to the top of the mountain, overlooking the morning scenery of Yulong River

11:00 Go to Yulong Village, take a tour in Yulong Village

12:00 lunch in Yulong Village

14:00 Cycling along the Yulong River

16:00 To Yangshuo station, Take train to Guangzhou(first choise train 18:38-21:02)

Cuiping Hill is located in the Putao countryside at a bend in the upper sections of the Yulong River and near some local villages.

Yulong River is a tributary of the Li River in Yangshuo. Compared with the scenery of the Li River, Yulong River has a more gentle scenery and is known as the “Little Li River”.
