Day 01: Delhi Arrival - Welcome to the Capital city of India
Meet and greet our driver/representative at Delhi airport who’ll immediately transfer you to the Hotel for a smooth and hassle free Check Inn.
After a brief relaxation, we will be heading to discover Old City. We will visit the Red Fort built by the Shahjahan in 1634 followed by a visit of the grand Jamia Masjid. We will also pay a visit to Raj Ghat – A place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Overnight stay!
Day 02: New Delhi Sightseeing ~ Later drive to Agra (220km / 4hrs Approx)
After breakfast, we will proceed on a tour of New Delhi. We will visit the famous Sikh Temple ‘Gurudwara Bangla Sahib’ (1783), Laxmi Narayan also known as Birla Temple (1939), we will drive through the Govt buildings such as India Gate, Parliament and Presidential Palace built in 1921-1930
Post lunch, we will drive along with one of the finest freeways (expressway) to Agra. Upon arrival, check into the Hotel. Evening free, overnight stay!
Day 03: Agra ~ Ranthambore National Park (270km / 5hrs Approx)
Gear up early morning to discover the famous Taj Mahal. Perhaps the most photographed monument in the world. However, there is a degree of enigma about the Taj. No matter how many pictures you have seen or no matter how high your expectations are the Taj never lets you down - the unparalleled glory and beauty of the building surpasses beyond all human imaginations. A dawn visit to the fabled Taj Mahal to witness the magical effects caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising sun on this brilliant white marble building. Come back to the hotel and enjoy breakfast.
NOTE: Taj Mahal remains closed for visitors on every Friday!
Post check out, we will ride the massive Agra Fort. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles, built by Emperor Akbar, the maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire. Later visit Itimad-Ud-Daula – A Baby Taj!
Continue drive to Ranthamnbore NP. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Evening free at leisure and overnight stay!
Day 04: Ranthambore NP - Tiger Safari (Morning+Afternoon)
Morning Safari in Ranthambore National Park - One of the most eminent wild life parks. It is consider as one of the best places in the country to see the Bengal Tiger. It also has deserted castle and lakes. It supports a varied series of flora and fauna which makes it a wonderful destination to visit. Ranthambore is commonly known for its large tiger population and it is the prime example of project tiger’s conservation efforts. Return to the hotel/resort and enjoy the facilities of the same.
Post lunch, get ready for yet another Safari up to Ranthambhore Tiger reserve where you can explore wildlife and spot many wild animals.
Day 05: Ranthambore NP ~ Jaipur (190km / 3hrs Approx)
After breakfast, we will drive to Jaipur upon arrival Check Into the hotel. After a brief relaxation, we will visit Hawa Mahal – also known as Palace of Winds, a five-storied structure of pink sandstone with semi-Octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city. It was built in 1799 so that veiled royal women could peer down unseen by the world through its 593 stone screens. Evening free at leisure, overnight stay!
This evening, we will visit ‘Chowki Dhani’ a small village in the outskirt of Jaipur. Here, you enjoy watching a Puppet show while traditionally served meals/thali. Later, drive back to Hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur Sightseeing
Today, we will proceed on a full day tour of Jaipur also known as Pink City. Our first stop will be at Amber Fort, the former capital of the royal Jaipurs. Your local guide will elaborate on the history of this architectural masterpiece with its mirror-studded alcoves, dazzling mosaics and water-cooled swings that delight today’s visitors as they did their former royal residents.
We will also visit Jantar Mantar, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Jantar Mantar is considered to be the largest of the five astronomican observatories. It contains sixteen geometric devices, designed to measure time, track celestial bodies and observe the orbits of the planets around the Sun. It also houses the interpretation Centre that helps the tourists to understand about the working principles and chronology of the observatory.
This evening, we will discover Nahargarh Fort; this Fort is one of the most visited Forts in Rajasthan. It offers a breathtaking view of the Pink city built by Maharaj Sawai Jai Singh II in 18th Century. Nahargarh means ‘Abode of Tigers’ and was adopted as the name, as the fort is a frequented site of the beasts. Nahargarh Fort is known for its strong defence. Drive back to the Hotel for overnight stay!
Day 07: Jaipur ~ Delhi (270km / 6hrs Approx)
Morning breakfast, later sit back to relax and enjoy the return journey back to Delhi.
Note: Travelers can also be dropped off at their preferred location in Delhi as well as in Jaipur (be it an airport, train station etc).
