    Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Muttrah, Muttrah, Muscat Governorate

Next we’ll head to the old Muttrah. This beautiful district holds Oman’s oldest houses, tightest alleyways, and the famous fish market.
Here you get to pick up some fresh fish to have a restaurant prepare them for you for lunch later on.

    Pass By: Corniche, Oman

From the Corniche, we pass by the merchants’ houses and their wooden decorations and find ourselves in the main souq.

Stop At: Mutrah Souq, Al Bahri Rd Near Corniche Restaurant, 113 Oman

Mutrah Souq is a bustling trading center that has both the charm of traditional souqs and the laid-back attitude of beach cities around the world. Here, you’ll also find the best Omani coffee, dates, and dehydrated shark meat found in the city. The souq is filled with the smell of Oman’s perfumes and fabrics and shines bright in the silver sections.

    Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Al Jalali Fort, Oman

We’ll head to the two Portuguese forts in the Muscat Old Town, Al Jalali and Al-Mirani forts. Climbing up them gives you the best view of the city, the mountains, and the blue ports all in one shot, and they make for a relaxing night hang-out with the city’s lights completing the scene.

Stop At: Al Alam Palace, Waterfront Oman

Are you ready for the most unique palace you’ll ever see? Al Alam Palace has a cartoonish look from afar, but she is nothing short of majestic once you get close. It is surrounded by colorful flowers and friendly birds on the outside. And it’s colorful exterior decorations change into white pristine stone once you step in.

    Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Bait Al Zubair, Al-Saidiya Street, Muscat 113 Oman

We’ll check out Bait Al Zubair Museum. This one has artistic decorations inside and outside, a fun premise for photography, and tons of information about the history and heritage of the land you’ve come to visit.
After visiting the museum, we'll have a hearty lunch at a local restaurant.

    Duration: 1 hour

    Pass By: Sidab, Muscat, Oman

The drive from Muscat to Qantab is short and serene. En-route, we’ll also pass by two authentic fishing villages: Sidab and Haramil.

Stop At: Qantab Beach, Muscat Oman

This beach is virtually untouched, clean, soft, and has warm waters that are a joy to swim in. It makes for perfect leisure after half a day of sightseeing.
But if you want to have a better look around, you can also have a boat ride and see its hidden rock arch.
