Padi Advanced Open Water Course
This scuba diving course will extend your confidence, your expertise and your maximum depth limit!
The PADI Advanced Open Water Course will take you for 5 adventure dives. A deep dive (up to 30 metres) and an underwater navigation dive are required, a wreck dive, with the other 2 dives almost entirely up to you!
With Paihia Dive you can include both the Rainbow Warrior and the Canterbury on your course. These wreck dives are some of the best in the world.
For your open water advanced course, you will need to have:
- PADI Open Water Dive certification or equivalent
- Dive equipment - luckily we have full hire available on request!
- Recent medical certificate
- All boat trips and equipment
- Day 1 : 3 dive dayWe do a deep dive on the Canterbury wreck, a Navigation Dive and one of the elective dives.Meals :NoneDay 2 : 2 dive dayWe do a wreck dive on the Rainbow Warrior and the other elective dive. These days are interchangable.Meals :None
Dive courses all year round. Starts at our shop every day at 7:45am and takes 2 days to complete the 5 dives.
Paihia Dive Terms
For individual bookings:
Cancellations and transfers more than 24 hours from trip departure will be accepted in most cases.
Cancellations within 24 hours of trip departure will incur a cancellation fee of $100 per person. A substitute dive is welcome at no cost. In the event of non attendance full payment is forfeited.
For group bookings of 4 or more, or sole charters:
Cancellations and transfers more than 48 hours from trip departure will be accepted in most cases.
Cancellations within 48 hours of trip departure will incur a cancellation fee of $100 per person. Within 24 hours of departure full payment will be taken if places cannot be filled.
If we cancel the trip due to bad weather or mechanical breakdown , a full refund will be provided. Seasickness or an inability to equalize do not warranty a refund.
Padi Advanced Open Water Course Terms
Before starting this course you will need to complete a medical form. If you answer yes to any questions on the form, you will be required to have a dive medical with a doctor. Doctors fees will apply.
