Then we go to the historic, 100y old "Kafeen" for a pancake lunch. After lunch the tour continues to the tunnels of Osa. A historical view on the epic plan to turn Osa into a city for 6,000 people, develop a railway and metal industry. A telling of the extraordinary story of the unfinished construction of a hydroelectric power plant.
In the roughest area of Hardangervidda, under harsh conditions, many kilometers of tunnels were constructed, including a vertical shaft of nearly 1 km inside the mountain. Experience the extraordinary story of likely the largest industrial archaeological site in Norway.
