Sea & Explore Wineglass Bay & Freycinet National Park - Cruise & Walk
Being the original and most experienced tour operator in the region, Wineglass Bay Tours have the greatest depth of knowledge, experience and rapport with the local communities.
Our guides are truly locals. Tasmanians who love sharing our beautiful island home with visitors and sharing not only the secrets and tales of the East Coast, but also sharing more information about Tasmania in general, including what it is like to live in such a remote, natural part of the world.
The Sea & Explore Tour provides the best of both worlds. You get a beautiful cruise on the crystal clear waters of the Freycinet National Park and you also get to explore the shore on foot, but without having to hike up and down any mountains.
Escape the crowds by accessing more remote and secluded areas in the National Park.

Discover Tasmania's wild oysters washed up on the sand, look for a hermit crab hiding in the shells on the beach, admire the seabirds or perhaps the local dolphins.
Maria Island is clearly visible across the water and your Local Guide will tell you all about the exciting past, present and future of the island.
Our stop here isn't long, but it is always pleasurable and sets the scene for the rest of our fun day up the coast.

Stop At: Hazards Beach, Coles Bay, Freycinet, Tasmania Australia
As you step off the Aqua Taxi onto the pristine white sand of Hazards Beach you will know you have arrived at a very special place. This remote area of the Freycinet National Park is far far away from the large bustling crowds that drive into the park and hike up to the Wineglass Bay Lookout.
Hazards Beach is nice and shallow. A great swimming beach and because it faces out into Great Oyster Bay rather than the Tasman Sea, the water here is considerably warmer than the water at Wineglass Bay Beach.
