This Great Ocean Road region has some of the world surfing professionals favourite surf spots. You will discover the regions rich surf history including meeting and surfing with a local surfer, as well as visiting the home of a local surfboard shaper to learn about the different boards used in the region and how they are shaped.

On this tour you will also be given an in-depth local’s experience of the Twelve Apostles and Port Campbell National Park, the scenic Great Ocean Road, Great Otway National Park and experiences some of Australia’s most beautiful coastal towns of Torquay, Anglesea, Lorne, Apollo Bay and Port Campbell. As you are staying overnight in the region on this tour, you will get to experience everything the region has to offer allowing for plenty of photo opportunities including the best locations for sunset and sunrise and without the rush of having to get back to Melbourne in one day.

      Tumbling 30 metres down a rocky face in a fern filled rainforest setting. Erskine Falls drips with natural charm. It's the most accessible of the regions waterfalls.

      One of our favourite local photography spots, this lookout provides a spectacular view over the coastline with the Great Ocean Road snaking through the Otway National Park.

      Stop At: Apollo Bay, Apollo Bay, Victoria
      Enjoy a food and drink stop at one of our favourite local spots in Apollo Bay, a seaside village embraced by tranquil beaches, rolling green hills and the Great Otway National Park.

      Stop At: Cape Otway, Cape Otway, Great Otway National Park, Victoria
      Cape Otway is one of the best places in Victoria to spot local koalas in the wild away from the crowds.

      Here we make our way down to the beach via the 86 steps that were carved into the face of the cliff by local settler Hugh Gibson. Once on the beach you will be dwarfed by the 70-metre high vertical cliffs while getting up close to two giant limestone stacks rising up out of the sea known as Gog and Magog.

      Hear the story of Loch Ard Shipwreck and learn about the rich maritime history of the area while wandering the trails at Loch Ard Gorge. We will also take a walk onto the beach which is famous for its smooth clear blue water.

      See some of Australia's best big-wave breaks at Two Mile Bay where experienced big wave riders surf the outer reefs off the eastern end of Two Mile Bay, called the Rifle Range.

      Day 2: Surf with a Local!

      Stop At: Torquay Front Beach, The Esplanade, Torquay, Victoria Australia
      Enjoy a one or two hour surf with a local surfer (for experienced surfers) or enjoy a private surf lesson (for those less experienced/wanting to further develop their surfing skills). This is suitable for everyone, we will tailor this experience and our beach location to match your experience (none required). Once you get out of the surf you will enjoy breakfast the local surfer and our local guide.
