  • Day 1: Arrival From Hanoi - City Tour

    Stop At: Hanoi, Hanoi
    Welcome to Hanoi - Vietnam!
    Upon arrival of the flight, the local driver will meet you at Noi Bai Airport; it takes us 35 minutes by car to get to central Hanoi, then check in at the hotel.
    Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in the old quarter, then we will take a bicycle to Hoan Kiem Lake, one of the city's main scenic spots and serves as a focal point for its public life to visit Ngoc Son temple and the Huc Bridge. And then we will stop at the Hanoi Opera House, erected by the French colonial administration between 1901 and 1911.
    After that, on the way to the water puppet show, we will see the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Hotel - A Southeast Asian grande dame who invites guests to experience its colonial grandeur and timeless elegance. Just steps from the Opera House in Hanoi's French Quarter, this legendary property puts guests in intimate contact with the opulence of another era. A scenic art invented by Vietnamese peasants a hundred years ago, with nearly 20 stories of Vietnamese traditions and daily scenes will be the last activity. Finally, we will take a walk through the streets of the old quarter and taste the traditional Vietnamese cuisine: beef noodles.
    Suggestion of nighttime activities: Taste local beer in Ta Hien streets, experience the vibe of the sleepless street with live music, Hanoi youth and foreign tourists. Hundreds of bars and pubs in the Old Quarter are also at your disposal. Or just spend your time in shopping malls or in various shops.

    Day 2: Hanoi - Tam Coc - Hoa Lu - Hanoi

    Stop At: Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Ninh Binh Vietnam
    A 90 km drive south of Hanoi will take you to Ninh Binh, the site of the only capital of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi assumed its leadership role in the 11th century. The region is characterized by many well-known landscapes including the Tam Coc Caves and the ancient capital Hoa Lu with the ancient temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le reigned in the 10th century.

    Day 3: Hanoi - Pu Luong - Water Mill

    Stop At: Pù Luông Nature Reserve, Bá Thước District, Thanh Hoa, Vietnam
    Pickup and transfer from your hotel in Hanoi to Pu Luong retreat.
    In the morning, you enter Pu Luong Nature Reserve by road through a breathtaking mountain pass offering you panoramic views of the entire valley. You arrive at your accommodation in time for a delicious lunch, followed by free time to explore the beautiful retreat, with its captivating panoramic views and peaceful surroundings.

    In the afternoon, you will be transferred to a suspension bridge over the Cham River, where you will begin your walk in search of awesome water wheels. Get up close to each wheel and see how water is transferred from the river to the handmade bamboo aqueducts via simple constructions of all sizes.
    Upon arriving at a local fisherman's house, you rest to prepare for the adventure with Dinh and his team. Float along the calm river and enjoy the views, between learning to paddle and piloting your artisanal rafts.
    Arriving at the scenic Tan Lap Bridge, you disembark to be transferred to Pu Luong Retreat.

    Day 4: Trekking Routes

    Stop At: Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Pho Doan, Thanh Hoa 448100 Vietnam
    Breakfast at the retreat. We start early in the morning to descend into the beautiful valley facing the Retreat where we walk around rice terraces. Travel along small paths surrounded by vegetation to slowly reveal a picturesque village sitting at the foot of a towering mountain. Your camera will not be able to stand still!
    Continuing down the valley, you weave between roads and farmland, villages and wild fields, ponds and rivers, mountains and open land. Savor the ever-changing landscape as you walk to a beautiful spot to enjoy a simple picnic.
    After enjoying delicious food, you have your free afternoon to explore the refreshing water of the nearby river, before moving to pick up the retreat transfer point.

    Day 5: Village Life And Community - Pu Luong - Hanoi

    Stop At: Pu Luong Retreat, Thành Lâm, Bá Thước District, Thanh Hoa, Vietnam

    You have the chance to get up close and personal with village life and interact with the locals living in the hills above the retreat. Learn about everyday life, walk through working farmland and rice paddies, and learn how to make rice wine and weave colorful textiles. Then you will be transferred to Puluong Retreat for lunch.
    Depart from the Lodge in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel in Hanoi.

    Day 6: Hanoi - Halong - Overnight On Board

    Stop At: Halong Bay Vietnam
    From Hanoi at 8 a.m., head east for over 3 hours to Halong Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a natural World Heritage Site designated by UNESCO in 1994. La route will pass through the Red River Delta with green rice fields and rural villages, where hard-working farmers are busy with their farm work, plowing buffaloes or planting seedlings. Upon arrival in Halong, we will take a large boat to sail around the bay to experience the magnificent beauty of this "descending dragon" bay, created by thousands of oddly shaped limestone rocks and karst caves. After a fresh seafood lunch on board, we can visit the surprising cave, stop for swimming or kayaking, pass floating villages and approach islets to enjoy their beauty nearby. Return to the boat for dinner at the end of the afternoon. In the evening, take in activities on the boat or relax on your own. Overnight on the boat near Titov beach.

    Day 7: Halong - Hanoi - Danang - Hoi An

    Stop At: Halong Bay Vietnam
    After breakfast, boat tour to Luon Cave, a ring-shaped swimming pool inside a Halong Island with absolutely peaceful scenery and emerald water. Return to Halong wharf passing through the densest area with many islands that have been named as Cock-Fighting Rock, Sail Island, Incense burner rock or Sea Dog Rock. Arrival at Halong Wharf around 11:00 am.
    Take the shuttle to Hanoi. Our driver will meet you on the way to continue transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for a short flight to Danang.
    Welcome to the airport then transfer along the coast to reach Hoi An Old Town for check-in.

    Day 8: Hoi An - Half Day

    After breakfast at the hotel, you will take an interesting walk on the Japanese tiled roof bridge, visit the taciturn Chinese assembly halls, enjoy the attractiveness of the ancient Tan Ky and Phung Hung houses, as well as the Japanese bridge. Later, we can stop at shrines or take a walk in the market located near the Thu Bon river, where you can find the same feelings of the artists, who see the roofs of Hoi An an old magical world of oriental feel and source inspiration. It is also a wonderful city to buy lanterns, soft silk, raw silk or to tailor your clothes in a day. The rest of the day will be free to explore the city or ride a bike (bike rental on customer account) along Thu Bon to Cua Dai beach. Overnight in Hoi An.

    Day 9: Hoi An - Half Day Tour From Saigon

    Stop At: Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City
    Relax until transferred to Da Nang airport to board the midday flight to Saigon. Meet at Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. Next, we'll join a half-tour to get an overview of Saigon - Vietnam's most vibrant city.

    Departure from your hotel for the Reunification Palace; this beautifully preserved palace was the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. On April 30, 1975, the American War officially ended here.

    Next, we visit Notre Dame Cathedral, which was built in 1880, and the Old Post Office, which was built between 1886 and 1891. It is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture . Our last stop would be at a local market where you can practice your negotiating skills while shopping for souvenirs.     Day 10: Saigon - Cu Chi Tunnels - Saigon

    Stop At: Cu Chi Tunnels, Phu Hiep TL15 Phu Hiep, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam
    In the morning, visit the Cu Chi tunnels, one of the few remaining monuments of the Vietnam War. Under the ground are 200 km of hand-dug tunnels inhabited by Vietnamese guerrilla forces during the conflict. At its peak, before the Tet offensive in 1968, the tunnel complex numbered nearly 10,000 troops. To this day, it remains one of the most impressive examples of the violence of war. You can even try crawling tens of meters through the underground tunnel to get the real experience. Return to Saigon.

    In the afternoon, your free time for shopping in the city center where you can choose many pretty things at a very reasonable price. A few places to mention while shopping are Ben Thanh Market - the center and typical market of Saigon; Saigon Square, a few minutes walk from Ben Thanh market; An Dong Plaza and its neighboring market; or Diamond Plaza and Thuong Xa Tax if you are looking for highly qualified and branded products.     Day 11: Saigon - Mekong Delta - Saigon

    Stop At: My Tho, My Tho, Tien Giang Province, Mekong Delta
    After breakfast at the hotel, chosen by the hotel and drive towards My Tho, the homeland of coconut factories and family with local products like coconut candy, coconut paper rice… the local people live along the banks. We stop on one of the 4 islands in the region for sightseeing. Enjoy the fresh tropical fruits served in the heart of the garden accompanied by traditional folk music from southern Vietnam at the plantation. After that, you will embark on the small boats rowed by the local population through the small canals with water coconut trees to visit the local factories. There you will taste the honey tea and see the locals producing the coconut milk and of course you can also try it or take a walk in the garden where the locals feed the bees. We continue to board the big boat to visit the vast region. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant near the Mekong River. Afternoon, return to Saigon with stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a famous pagoda in the region whose architecture is a mixture of Chinese, Cambodian and French culture. Overnight in Saigon.
