Wine tour 5 days, 4 nights "The sun of Armenia in the glass"

Thanks to the excavations of the Armenian and British scientists, conducted in the territory of Armenia in 2008, 1.5 kilometres to the west from Areni village, unique cave Areni 1 or as it is also called “T'rchunneri (Birds) Cave” was discovered. Already as long as 6,000 years ago, it served as a winery for the ancient inhabitants of the Armenian Highlands. Materials dating from 4200-3500 BC were found here: plant remains, dishes, grape and apricot stones, cane knitted fabrics, women's jewellery and more.
